Meet Tigger!

 K9 Tigger has selflessly served Adams County for the past six years and is retiring on July 16th, 2025. K9 Tigger is an 8-year-old Dutch Shepherd, and he lives up to his name Tigger in every way.  

Tigger quickly earned the reputation as one of the most dependable, determined, hard-working dogs in the region. His nickname quickly became "Wonder dog", (along with a couple others). Even though he won't admit it, Tigger likes his cuddles and belly rubs. Tigger will play for hours even after a long day of work and truly enjoys being outside. 

Tigger has played a vital role in countless investigations and high-risk operations throughout his years of service. Tigger has a confirmed 165 arrests, including 11 apprehensions involving bites.  Detection and seizure of well over 2.8 kg of methamphetamine 19.3 kg of cocaine 334 g of fentanyl 12.3 g of heroin and 1.56 g of ecstasy.

Tigger's drive for work is unmatched and words cannot describe what an amazing partner he has been throughout the years. The numerous deployments with shift mates, and endless memories to last a lifetime.
